On June 2, 2006, members of the Caddo Nation Cultural Preservation Office came to the Shiloh Museum to reclaim the skeletal remains of a Caddo Indian. Carolyn Reno, Collections Manager of the Shiloh Museum, took some time to interview Robert Cast, the Historic Preservation Officer, Bobby Gonzalez, NAGPRA Coordinator, and Lyman Kionute, Sr., an Elder of the Caddo Nation about their efforts to reclaim Caddo remains falling under the guidelines of NAGPRA (Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act).
